Murphy’s law states that “whatever can go wrong, will go wrong.”
I was having a conversation with a friend of mine and he was asking if I was a pessimist or an optimist.
i replied and said that I was an optimist, but stated that I always expect the worst out of any situation.
He then turned around and asked how I could possibly be optimistic while having an attitude that was definitely pessimistic.
I said this, being a pessimist is a hard job, you have to take the fun out of everything and always question wether or not If something bad is going to happen.
So I told him that even though I believe in Murphy’s law, that doesn’t make me pessimistic, it makes me an optimistic realist; who believes that WHEN something bad happens that there is aways room for a positive message, even if it has to end in a bad way.
